Sweets: Strawberry Pretzel Dessert

3 tablespoons sugar
3/4 cup butter
2 1/2 cups crushed pretzels
8 ounces cream cheese
1 cup sugar
2 cups cool whip Lite®
1 6 ounces pkg strawberry jello
2 cups boiling water
2 packages frozen strawberries (10 oz each)
Recipe
Cream together 3 tbl. sugar and butter. Fold crushed pretzels into mixture and press into a 9x13 inch pan. Bake at 350ºF for 10 minutes and let cool completely. Cream together cream cheese, 1 c. sugar, and cool whip. Pour over cooled crust. Combine strawberry jello, boiling water and strawberries; spoon over cream cheese mixture. Chill until set.
