    Ramen Bowl with Shrimp & Shiitake

    List of Ingredients




    (Makes two entree or four side-dish servings)
    1 package ramen noodles oriental flavor
    2 ounces shiitake mushrooms, destemmed and cut into quarters
    1 small red onion, sliced
    2 carrots, peeled and thinly sliced
    2 scallions, cut into 1-inch dice
    6 large shrimp, sliced in half lengthwise
    2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
    4 tablespoons of oyster sauce
    1 package of seaweed salad (available at Asian markets)
    Sesame seeds, as desired

    Recipe



    Cook ramen noodles according to package directions, using flavoring packet, then drain off all liquid and set aside.
    Place oil in medium skillet over medium-high heat and saute mushrooms, onion, carrot, scallions and shrimp for approximately three minutes, then add noodles and oyster sauce and mix well.
    Garnish with oriental seaweed salad on the side and a sprinkling of sesame seeds.
