    Turn the ordinary Top Ramen Noodle Soup mix into a
    delicious chow mein dish simply by adding meat and vegetables.
    Serves 2 to 4.

    List of Ingredients




    Prepare and have ready to combine:

    1/2 lb. pork, loin cut, sliced thin
    1/2 c. carrots, sliced thin
    1/2 c. celery, sliced thin diagonally
    1 small onion, sliced thin
    1/2 c. Sun Luck sliced bamboo shoots
    2 pkg. Top Ramen, chow mein or pork flavor
    1/2 c. Sun Luck water chestnuts, sliced
    1/2 c. Oriental dried mushrooms, soaked in water until soft, drained and sliced
    1 c. bean sprouts
    2 c. bok choy, sliced

    Recipe



    Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in wok or skillet. Stir-fry meat until color changes. Add all the vegetables in listed order, stirring after each addition. Add the flavoring packets from the Top Ramen package and 1 1/2 cups boiling water. Make a well in the middle and place the noodles in the liquid. Cover and simmer for approximately 2 minutes or until the noodles break apart easily. Stir and cook for another 1 minute or until the noodles are the desired consistency. Garnish with chopped green onions and/or sliced barbecued pork.
