Venison: Oven BBQ Venison Steak

Barbecue Sauce
1 can (10 ounce) tomato soup
3-4 cups water
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons vinegar
1 clove crushed garlic
1 large chopped onion
1 cup chopped celery
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
2 teaspoons corn starch
1/2 teaspoon saltRecipe
Trim all fat from the steaks. Lay the steaks on a cutting board and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Pound steaks lightly with a meat cleaver on both sides. Brown steaks in a hot oiled skillet. Place the steaks in a roasting pan. Combine all the sauce ingredients together and pour over the steaks. Bake at 350 degrees F. until done. Makes 6 servings.
