    Chocolate: Caramel Chocolate Squares

    List of Ingredients

    1 14 ounces pkg caramels
    5 ounces evaporated milk
    1 package German chocolate cake mix
    2/3 cup butter, melted
    3/4 cup pecans, coarse chopped
    6 ounces chocolate chips
    1 cup coconut

    Recipe

    Heat caramels with 1/4 c. milk in saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly. Mix dry cake mix with butter, remaining milk, and pecans. Spread half of dough in ungreased 13x9 inch baking pan. Bake for 6 minutes at 350ºF. Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips and coconut over baked layer. Drizzle caramel mixture over top. Drop remaining dough by teaspoon on caramel layer. Bake for 15-20 minutes more at 350ºF, then cool.
