Caramel Pecan Fudge Bars

2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups flour
2/3 cup cocoa
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter -- melted
3 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
36 pecan halves
Topping:
1/3 cup caramel ice cream topping or apple dip
1/3 cup chopped pecans
3 tablespoons hot fudge ice cream toppingRecipe
Heat the oven to 350ºF. Combine sugar, flour, cocoa and salt in a medium bowl. Stir in butter, eggs and vanilla; mix well. Spread batter into a greased 13x9" baking pan. Arrange pecan halves evenly on the batter. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Microwave the caramel topping until hot and bubbly. Stir in the chopped pecans; spread evenly over hot partially baked bars. Microwave the fudge topping until melted through. Drizzle fudge topping over the caramel pecan mixture. Cool completely and cut into bars. Tasty Tip: Refrigerate bars about 1 hour for easier cutting. Serve at room temperature.
