Cheesecake: Chocolate Chip Coconut Cheesecake Bars

8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1/2 cup coconut
18 ounces refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough
Recipe
Heat oven to 350ºF. In small bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar and egg until smooth. Stir in coconut. Remove half of dough from wrapper. Press half of dough into bottom of ungreased 9" square baking pan. Spread cream cheese mixture over dough. Crumble and sprinkle remaining half of cookie dough mixture over cream cheese mixture. Bake at 350ºF for 35-4 minutes or until golden brown and firm to the touch. Coool 30 minutes. Refrigerate at least 1 hour or until chilled. Cut into bars, serve chilled. Makes 16 bars.
