    Pecan: Chocolate Pecan Bars

    List of Ingredients

    1 1/4 cups unsifted flour
    1 cup powdered sugar
    1/3 cup baking cocoa
    1 cup cold butter
    14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
    1 egg
    2 teaspoons vanilla
    1 1/2 cups chopped pecans

    Recipe

    Preheat oven to 350ºF (325ºF for glass pan). In large bowl, combine flour, sugar and cocoa; cut in cold butter until crumbly. Press firmly on bottom of 13x9 inch baking pan. Bake for 15 minutes. Meanwhile in medium bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk, egg and vanilla; mix well. Stir in nuts. Spread evenly over baked crust. Bake 25 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool and cut into bars. Store covered in fridge. Makes 24-36.
