    Chocolate Pecan Pie Bars

    CRUST
    1-1/2 cups self-rising flour
    1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
    1/2 cup butter or margarine
    Preheat oven to 350�F.� Spray a 13x9-inch baking pan with non-stick vegetable spray.
    In a medium bowl, combine flour, butter, and sugar; cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.� Press into prepared baking pan.� Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until lightly browned.

    CHOCOLATE PECAN FILLING
    3 eggs
    3/4 cup corn syrup
    2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    1-1/2 cups chopped pecans
    1 12-ounce package semisweet chocolate morsels
    In a medium bowl, combine eggs, corn syrup, sugar, melted butter, and vanilla; whisk until well blended.� Stir in pecans and chocolate morsels.� Pour evenly over prepared crust.
    Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until filling is set.� Cool completely in baking pan on a wire rack.� Cut into bars.
