1 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 egg yolk
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon vanilla
6 ounces chocolate chips
1/2 cup nuts, chopped



Recipe

Preheat oven to 350ºF. In a bowl beat butter and brown sugar. Add egg yolk, flour, and vanilla. Spread 1/8-inch thick into an ungreased 9x9x2-inch baking pan. Bake for about 20 minutes or until edges are slightly brown. While still hot, sprinkle chocolate chips and finely chopped nuts on top. Let cool before cutting.
