Chocolate: Sinfully Good Chocolate Squares

8 ounces semisweet chocolate
1/4 cup butter
2 eggs
1 5 ounces can evaporated milk
1/3 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
3 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/2 cup finely chopped almonds
Recipe
Melt chocolate and butter or margarine in top of a double boiler over hot, not boiling, water. Remove from heat; cool slightly. Add eggs, stirring constantly, until well blended. Stir in evaporated milk, sugar and almond extract. Transfer to a large bowl. Add graham cracker crumbs and almonds and mix well. Spread into pan 8-inches square which has been lined with foil, leaving a 3-inch overhang on 2 parallel sides of pan. Grease the foil. Chill about 2 1/2 hours.
Chocolate Glaze:
2 (1 oz.) sq. semi-sweet
chocolate
1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 c. confectioners sugar
3 Tbsp. water
16 shelled almonds
Melt chocolate and butter over hot, not boiling, water in a double boiler. Remove from heat. Add confectioners sugar
and water and beat until smooth. Loosen edges of pan. Using foil edges, gently lift chocolate out of pan. Spread glaze evenly over chocolate. Garnish with almonds. Chill one hour or until glaze sets. Cut into 16 squares with an almond on each serving. Gently remove from foil.
