1/2 cup Butter or margarine
2 tablespoons Shortening
6 tablespoons Cocoa
1 cup Sugar
2 Eggs
1/2 teaspoon Vanilla
1 cup Unsifted all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon Salt
1/4 teaspoon Baking powder
1/2 cup Chopped nuts Recipe
Microwave butter or margarine and shortening in medium glass mixing bouw on high (full power) about 1 minute. Stir in cocoa until smooth; blend in sugar. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Stir in remaining ingrediants. Spread batter into lightly greased 8 inch round glass baking dish. Microwave on medium (1/2) for 7 minutes, turning 1/4 turn every 3 minutes. Microwave on high (full power) for 3 to 4 minutes, or until puffed and dry on top. Cool until set. Cut into wedges. Serve wedges topped with ice cram and chocolate syrup if desired.
