1 cup butter
2 1/2 cups brown sugar
5 eggs
3/4 cup cocoa
1 cup cold water
3 1/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt


Recipe

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time. In a separate bowl, sift together dry ingredients. Mix together cocoa and water. Add cocoa and dry ingredients to butter alternately. Pour into a greased 9'x13" cake pan. Bake at 350ºF 25-30 minutes.
