    Cherry: Cherry Cake w/ Pudding Frosting

    List of Ingredients

    1 can cherry pie filling -- (20 ounce)
    2 cups all-purpose flour
    1 teaspoon salt
    1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
    2 eggs
    2/3 cup oil
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    1 cup sugar
    3/4 cup chopped nuts

    Recipe

    Preheat oven to 350¡ F. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl; mix together well with a spoon. Pour into a greased 9x13-inch cake pan. Bake at 350 F. for 40-50 minutes. Cool, and frost with Vanilla Pudding Frosting (see recipe below).


    Vanilla Pudding Frosting: Combine 1 (4-oz.) package instant vanilla pudding mix with 1-1/2 cups cold milk and 1 envelope Dream Whip¨ topping mix. Beat together in deep bowl at high speed until fluffy and smooth.
