Chocolate: Chocolate Fudge Torte with Apricot & Chocolate Glaze

5 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 1/3 cups walnuts
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 tablespoons flour
4 tablespoons cocoa
1 teaspoon baking powder
Topping: 1/2 c. apricot jam, warmed
GLAZE:
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup butter, room temperature
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Recipe
In a food processor, blend together all cake ingredients for 1 minute or until nuts are very finely ground. Pour batter into a wax paper lined 10" springform pan and bake at 350ºF for 25-30 minutes, or until cake tester comes out clean. Do not overbake. Remove from pan and place on a footed platter. Spread top evenly with warmed apricot jam and with a teaspoon, swirl top with warm chocolate glaze, allowing some of the jam to show. Allow chocolate to set at room temperature, about 1 hour. Serves 12.
For glaze, on top of double boiler, over hot water, melt chocolate. Stir in butter until blended, then stir in vanilla until blended. Spoon over cake immediately while warm.
