1 1/2 cups butter, softened
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
3 cups sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
6 eggs
2 1/2 cups cake or all purpose flour
1 dash salt
1/2 cup cocoa
Recipe
Preheat oven to 325ºF. Cream butter and cream cheese. Gradually add sugar, salt and vanilla, beatting well. Alternately add eggs, flour and cocoa until mixed together thoroughly. Pour batter into a well greased tube pan and bake for 1 1/2 hours.
