1 german chocolate cake mix
1 stick margarine
1/3 cup milk
14 ounces caramels
1 cup chopped pecans or peanuts
1 cup chocolate chips (6 oz)
Recipe
Mix cake mix as directed. Pour 1/2 of batter into a floured and greased, 9x13 pan. Bake for 20 minutes at 350�F. Melt caramels with milk and margarine. Pour over baked cake. Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts over caramel. Dot remaining batter mixture onto cake. Bake for 20 minutes at 250�F, then 10 minutes at 350�F. (it may take a little longer).
