    4 egg yolks
    1/2 cup sugar
    2 tablespoons water
    3/4 cups self-rising flour

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 350°F.  Spray an 8-inch cake pan with non-stick vegetable spray. In a large mixing bowl, combine egg yolks, sugar, and water; beat until light and foamy.  Gently fold in flour.  Pour into prepared cake pan; smooth top. Bake for 25 minutes or until center of cake springs back when lightly touched.  Cool in cake pan for 10 minutes.  Remove from pan; cool completely on a wire rack.  Fill and frost and desired.
