Toffee: Toffee Bar Dessert Cake

List of Ingredients
2 c Light brown sugar packed
2 c All-purpose flour
1/2 c Butter or margarine
1 lg Egg
1 c Buttermik or milk
1 t Baking soda
1/2 ts Salt or less
1/2 ts Vanilla extract
1/2 c Chopped nuts optional
6 heath bars, chopped (or other toffee candy bars)
Recipe
Combine sugar and flour; cut in margarine. Reserve 2/3 to 1 cup of mixture. Add egg buttermilk, soda, salt, and vanilla to remaining sugar mixture. Pour into a greased 9 x 13 pan. Top with reserved sugar mixture, nuts and heath bars. Bake 350 for 25-30 min 12 servings
