Vanilla Texas Cake

List of Ingredients

2 2/3 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup oil
2/3 cup buttermilk
1 cup water
2 eggs
3 teaspoons vanilla
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon

ICING:
1/2 cup butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
8 ounces cream cheese
1 pound powdered sugar


Recipe

Mix flour and sugar. Bring 1/2 cup butter, oil and water to boil. Pour over flour mixture. Beat in eggs, 2 tsp vanilla, cinnamon, baking soda and buttermilk. Pour into greased 17x11 inch pan. Bake at 350ºF for 20 minutes.

ICING: cream butter, vanilla and cream cheese. Blend in powdered sugar and beat until light and fluffy. Spread over warm cake.
