3 cups sugar
1/2 cup butter
4 teaspoons vanilla
2/3 cup milk
1/4 teaspoon salt

Recipe
Heat together on medium heat, sugar, milk, margarine and salt. Stir occasionally until mixture comes to a rolling boil. Turn heat to low, and let boil until it reaches soft-ball stage. DO NOT STIR after the heat has been turned down. Remove from stove and add vanilla , but DO NOT STIR. Let cool until bottom of pan is cool to the touch. Stir until fudge loses its gloss and becomes slightly stiff. Butter hands and knead until stiff enough to roll out 1/4" thick. Sprinkle cinnamon over fudge and roll it up. Chill until stiff enough to slice. Slice into 1/2" thick slices. Can be decorated with candy sugars or tiny candy beads.
