    3/4 cup granulated sugar
    2 3/4 cups whole almonds skins on
    2 tbsp. sesame seeds
    1/2 cup chocolate chips melted

    Line baking sheet with foil and butter it. Set aside. Measure sugar into small heavy skillet. Turn heat to medium. As soon as sugar begins to melt and liquefy, add almonds and sesame seeds. Cook, stirring continuously, until sugar is melted and golden, and almond skins begin to pop. Stir to coat almonds completely with sugar mixture. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto buttered foil on baking pan. (I make sure there are about 2 or 3 almonds in each pieces.) Cool completely.

    Put chocolate chips into a freezer baggie. (The regular baggies are not strong enough.) Carefully and slowly, melt chips in microwave. Snip a small (very small) corner off and drizzle chocolate in stripes over pieces.
