Truffles: Bonnie's Truffles

12 ounces chocolate chips
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 cup heavy cream, heated
1 tablespoon liquor (1-3)*
Recipe
* (depends on your taste, I use truffle, Godiva, Kahlua any liquor will do) Put the chips and unsalted butter in a blender or food processor. Heat cream till steaming, (2 min 30 sec. in the microwave]. Turn on blender or food processor pour hot cream over chips and butter blend on high speed until creamy and chocolate is melted. Pour into a bowl and refrigerate until firm. Then using just under a tsp. of mixture, roll into balls then roll in chocolate or colored jimmies, coconut, or crushed walnuts.
