Chocolate Snickers Candy

4 Tbsp. cocoa
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1 stick butter or margarine (1/4 c.)
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. rolled oats Recipe
Combine sugar, milk and cocoa in a large pot. Put in butter and bring to boil. Boil exactly 1 minute . Add vanilla, salt and (if desired) peanuts. Stir well and mix in oats. Drop teaspoon-sized lumps onto greased baking trays or pans. Beating mixture before taking it out of pan will make the Snickers harden faster.
