    Amish Country Cookbook Vol II

    List of Ingredients





    1 1/2 pounds pitted dates
    1 pint light corn syrup
    5 cups sugar
    1 pound walnuts
    1 1/2 pints cream

    Recipe



    Boil sugar, syrup and cream until thick. Add dates. Stir until sugar dissolves. Add nuts, then pour into buttered pan. Cut when cool. Makes 5 pounds.
