1 cup real maple syrup
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup water
1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
6 large marshmallows
1 egg whiteRecipe
Boil first 4 ingredients in saucepan til a few drops become brittle in cold water. Then add marshmallows, in pieces. Let stand 5 min. When melted, pour over stiffly beaten white of egg. Beat up until light, and when it begins to harden, drop from teaspoon on oiled or greased paper. Place a half cherry or nut in center of each piece. Set aside to cool.
