Recipe Introduction
Recipe by: Ruby Williams, Bogalusa, Louisiana. "This is a favorite snack for me and my great-grandson. It has a hearty pecan taste without being too sweet."
List of Ingredients
12 ounces vanilla wafers, crushed
3 3/4 cups finely chopped pecans
12 ounces sweetened condensed milk Recipe
In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients; mix well. Divide mixture in half. Between sheets of waxed paper, roll out each half into a 9x2 inch log. Tightly wrap each log in foil. Chill well. Cut into 1/4" slices. Store leftovers in the refrigerator. Serves 50.
