BROWNIE BOTTOM:
8 tablespoons butter (1 stick)
4 ounces baking chocolate
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup flour
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon salt
TOPPING:
24 ounces cream cheese, softened
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 eggs
1/2 cup sugarRecipe
Preheat oven to 325ºF. Grease and flour 9-inch spring-form pan: set aside. CAKE; Melt butter and chocolate in heavy pan, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; cool to lukewarm. Add sugar and eggs, one at a time. Blend in milk and vanilla. Combine flour and salt; stir into chocolate mixture just until combined. Spoon evenly into spring-form pan. Bake 25 minutes. Remove from oven while preparing. TOPPING; Beat softened cream cheese, sugar and vanilla at medium speed until well blended. Add eggs, one at a time; blend in sour cream. Pour over brownie bottom. Will come to top of pan. Bake 55 minutes to 60 minutes. Cool before removing rim of spring-form pan. Refrigerate 4 hours or overnight.
