    Coffee: Espresso Cheesecake

    List of Ingredients

    3 pounds cream cheese, softened
    1 1/4 cups sugar
    3 tablespoons flour
    3 egg yolks
    4 eggs
    1/4 cup heavy cream
    1 cup base syrup

    Recipe

    Preheat oven to 475�F. Mix cream cheese till fluffy, then beat in sugar and flour. Add eggs and yolks one at time, beating well after each. Add cream and base syrup and pour into a springform pan. Use standard crust. Bake at 475�F for 20 minutes, then lower heat to 200�F and bake for additional 1 1/2 hours. Let sit in oven an extra hour to cool, then refrigerate. For Base Syrup: 2 c. brown sugar, 4 c. water, 1 oz vanilla, 2 oz strong instant coffee powder. Boil sugar and water for 10 minutes, then cool slightly. Add coffee and vanilla, and then cool thoroughly.
