    1 package yellow cake mix
    2 cups quick cooking oats, uncooked
    1 cup sugar
    1 cup vegeatble oil
    2 eggs
    1 cup chopped pecans
    1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, combine cake mix, oats and sugar. Combine oil and eggs; add to dry ingredients, stirring well. Stir in pecans and vanilla. Shape dough into 1 1/2 inch balls and place 2 inches apart on an ungreased baking sheet; flatten balls with the bottom of a slightly greased glass. Bake for 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Transfer cookies to wire racks to cool. Store in an airtight container. Makes about 5 dozen.
