Cinnamon Gingersnap Cookies

3/4 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1/4 cup molasses
2 cups flour
1 tablespoon ginger
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 dash salt
Recipe
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Beat butter and sugar til light and fluffy. Add in egg and molasses, beating well. Stir in flour, ginger, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Roll better into 1" balls, and coat with mixture of 1 tsp cinnamon mixed with 1/4c. sugar. Place cookie balls on greased cookie sheet 2" apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes, til lightly browned, at 350ºF. Remove from cookie sheet and cool on wire rack. Yield: 6 dozen cookies.
