List of Ingredients

1 1/2 cups shortening
1 1/2 cups sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
3 cups flour
1 tablespoon baking soda
1 tablespoon cream of tartar
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 eggs


Recipe

Cream together shortening, sugar & brown sugar. Add 2 eggs til creamy. Add vanilla. In separate bowl, mix flour, baking soda, cream of tartar & salt. Add dry ingredients to mixture. Roll into balls & roll balls into granulated sugar. Do NOT press down. Bake in 325ºF oven for 8-10 minutes.
