    List of Ingredients




    2 cups flour
    1/2 teaspoon baking soda
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1 cup oatmeal
    1 cup butter
    3/4 cup sugar
    3/4 cup dark brown sugar
    2 eggs
    2 teaspoons vanilla
    1 teaspoon lemon juice
    1 teaspoon cinnamon
    2 cups chocolate chips
    1 1/2 cups chopped nuts (pecans and/or walnuts)

    Mix together flour, baking soda, salt and oatmeal. In mixer cream butter, then cream in the sugars, blending until creamy. Blend in eggs, vanilla, lemon juice and cinnamon, a little at a time to the flour mixture. When it is all blended add in chocolate and nuts.. When all mixed drop onto parchment covered pans and bake at 300ºF for 20-25 minutes. Immediately move cookies from pan to a rack to cool.
