2 1/2 cups flour
2 cups butter, softened
1 cup sugar
1 cup rice flour
1/2 pound chocolate, chopped
Recipe
Preheat broiler. Spread flour on a baking sheet. Place sheet 4 to 5 inches from the element. Broil flour carefully until medium brown. When flour begins to toast, turn grains with a spatula; continue browning (total time is about 3 minutes). Cool tray on a wire rack. Preheat oven to 300ºF. Meanwhile, mix butter, sugar and rice flour in a large mixing bowl. Fold in roasted flour; blend well. Fold chocolate into dough; spread onto a 15x10x1-inch baking pan (also called a jelly-roll pan). Score surface in a diamond-shaped pattern before baking. Bake for 1 hour. Remove from oven; let cool on wire racks.
