    List of Ingredients




    1/2 cup butter, softened
    1/2 cup shortening
    1 1/2 cups sugar
    1/2 cup honey
    2 eggs
    2 tablespoons lemon juice
    4 cups flour
    2 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
    1 teaspoon ground cloves
    1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1 cup chopped pecans

    In a mixing bowl, cream butter, shortening and sugar until fluffy. Add honey, eggs and lemon juice; beat well. Combine dry ingredients; gradually add to creamed mixture. Fold in pecans. Shape into 1-in balls; roll in sugar. Place on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350ºF for 12-13 mins or until golden brown. Cool 2 mins; remove to wire racks.
