Melt-In-Your-Mouth Cookies

2 cups margarine
1 cup sugar
5 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups pecans -- chopped
1/4 teaspoon salt
confectioner's sugarRecipe
In a mixing bowl, cream the margarine (or butter) and sugar; add flour, vanilla, pecans and salt. Mix well. Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake in preheated 325ºF oven for 17-20 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool cookies slightly before rolling them in the confectioner's sugar. Makes 12 dozen.
