    Peanut Butter Cup Chocolate Cookies

    2 1/2 cups flour
    3/4 cup unsweetened baking cocoa
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1 cup sugar
    1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
    1 cup butter, softened
    2 teaspoons vanilla
    2 eggs
    48 mini Reeses Peanut Butter Cup candies -- chopped

    Recipe



    Heat oven to 375ºF. In a small bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa and baking soda. In a large bowl, beat sugar, brown sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Add vanilla and eggs; beat well. Take chopped peanut butter cups and stir in to batter. Use a tablespoon and drop cookies on an ungreased cookie sheet 2 inches apart. Cook at 375ºF for 7 to 10 minutes or until cookie shows cracks. Take from oven and let cool on cookie sheet for 1 to 2 minutes before removing. Place on a wire rack to cool completely. Makes about 3 1/2 to 4 dozen.
