Robbie's Ginger Snaps

3/4 cup butter, softened
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1 egg
1/4 cup molasses
2 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground clovesRecipe
Combine butter, brown sugar, egg, and molasses. Set aside. Combine flour, cinnamon, ginger, baking powder, salt, and cloves. Add to wet mixture. Mix well. Refrigerate 1 hour. Roll out half of dough at a time, to º". Cut out 2"-3" circles (or desired shape). Bake on greased cookie sheet in 350ºF oven for 6-8 minutes.
