    List of Ingredients




    1/2 cup flour
    1/3 cup butter
    1/3 cup cane sugar
    1/4 cup buttermilk
    1/4 cup molasses crystals
    1/8 cup raisins
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1/2 teaspoon baking soda
    1/4 teaspoon ginger
    1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
    1/4 teaspoon allspice

    Recipe



    Cream butter and sugar for 5 minutes on high speed. Beat in egg for 2 minutes on medium speed. Sift dry ingredients together and mix with Molasses Crystals. Alternately add dry ingredients and buttermilk. Start and end with dry ingredients. Scrape bowl frequently. Mix 2 minutes on medium-low speed. Fold in raisins. Drop by teaspoonful onto greased baking sheet. Do not flatten. Bake at 375ºF for 8 minutes only. (Remove while still soft, cookies harden as they cool.)
