Recipe Introduction

I have sometimes added extra vanilla for richer flavor.

List of Ingredients

3 cups whipping cream
1 cup half and half
1 cup sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla (pure vanilla, do not use imitation)




Recipe

Combine all in cream canister, and stir until sugar is dissolved. Freeze as directed.

VARIATIONS: (add all additions in immediately after freezing ice cream)
Chocolate chip: Add 2/3 c. mini chocolate chips.
Cookies with Cream: Add 10 crushed Oreos.
Tin Roof Delight: Combine 1/2 c. hot fudge sauce and 3/4 c. chopped Spanish peanuts.
Fudge Revel: Swirl 1/2 c. hot fudge sauce.
Cherry Chip: Add 1 c. chopped maraschino cherries. Can also swirl in 1/2 c. melted chocolate
Peppermint Stick: Add 2/3 c. crushed peppermint candies.
