Maple & Ginger Ice Cream

List of Ingredients
8 fl. oz. Thin cream
3 tbs. Maple Grove Farms' Pure Maple Syrup
2 oz. Icing sugar
2 tsp. Vanilla essence
6 fl. oz. Thick cream
4 fl. oz. Milk
2 tsp. White rum (optional)
8 oz. Stern ginger drained and finely chopped
May also use Vermont Sugar Free or Cozy Cottage syrups. Recipe
Whisk the thick cream and Maple Grove Farms' Pure Maple Syrup until stiff. Gently heat the thin cream, vanilla essence, icing sugar and milk in a heavy saucepan stirring continuously until sugar is dissolved, then stir in the thick cream. Pour into a chilled bowl, beat with a whisk and add the finely chopped ginger and rum (optional). Return to the container and freeze until firm. Serve with Maple Grove Farms' Pure Maple Syrup.
