    2 cups finely chopped pecan, walnut, almond
    1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
    1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
    1 pound butter, melted
    1/4 cup sugar
    1 teaspoon lemon juice
    1/2 pound phyllo pastry
    1 cup honey

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 350ºF. Combine nuts, sugar and spice. Brush 2 sheets phyllo with melted butter and arrange 1 sheet atop the other. Sprinkle with 2 Tbl., of nut mix. Repeat til there are 3 layers of pastry and nuts. Roll like jelly roll. Continue to prepare the rolls until there are 3 of them. Cut each roll into 1" slices. Place slices on buttered baking sheets with sides. bake rolls for 20 minutes; turn them over and continue to bake for 15 minutes more til golden brown on both sides. Cool. While baking, make syrup; bring water to boil and stir in honey. Blend well and stir in lemon juice Cool slightly; should still be warm. When rolls are cool, dip each piece into warm syrup. Serve at room temp.
