Lemon: Buttermilk Lemon Pie

1 1/2 cups sugar
3 tablespoons flour
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 cup buttermilk
3 large eggs
1 lemon
1 unbaked 9" pie crust
Recipe
Use juice and rind of lemon. Grate the lemon with a lemon zester. Blend sugar, flour and nutmeg. Add melted butter and beat until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each. Mix in the milk and lemon. Pour into unbaked 9-inch pie crust. Bake at 400ºF for 10 minutes. Lower temperature to 325ºF and continue baking for 30 minutes longer.
