    Cherry: Cherry Crunch Pie

    1 prepared graham or butter flavor pie crust
    1 large egg yolk -- slight beaten
    1 21 ounce can cherry pie filling
    1 tablespoon cornstarch -- mixed with
    12 tablespoons water
    2 tablespoons sugar
    2 tablespoons light brown sugar -- firmly packed
    1/3 cup flour
    1/3 cup quick oats
    3 tablespoons melted butter

    Recipe

    Preheat oven to 375�F. Brush bottom and sides of crust with egg yolk. Bake on baking sheet until lightly browned, about 5 minutes. Remove from oven. Place cherry pie filling in a bowl. Combine cornstarch and water to make a smooth paste. Mix into pie filling and spoon into prepared crust. Combine sugar, brown sugar, flour and otas. Mix in melted butter. Spoon mixture over pie filling. Bake at 375�F on baking sheet, 35 minutes. Cool at least 4 hours on a wire rack. Serve at room temperature.
