4 ounces unsweetened chocolate
3/4 cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
4 eggs
1 pie shell (9"), baked
whipped cream for serving
Recipe
Melt chocolate; set aside to cool. In a small mixer bowl, cream butter. Add sugar, melted chocolate and vanilla. Beat until light and fluffy. Add eggs. Beat about 3 minutes, until mixture is smooth and thick. Pour into baked pie shell; chill. Garnish with whipped cream, if desired. Makes one 9" pie.
