Chocolate: Chocolate Velvet Cream Cheese Pie

2 cups milk chocolate chips
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup whipping cream, whipped
1 prepared chocolate cookie pie crust


Recipe

In a medium microwave-safe bowl, microwave morsels on medium-high power for 1 minute; stir. Microwave at additional 10-20 second intervals, stirring until smooth. Cool to room temperature. In a large mixing bowl, beat melted chocolate, cream cheese and vanilla until light in color. Fold in whipped cream. Spoon into pie crust. Refrigerate until firm. Top with sweetened whipped cream, chocolate curls and nuts if desired.
