Apple: Dutch Apple Pie

6 cups apples
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup light brown sugar
3 tablespoons flour
CRUMB TOPPING:
1 cup flour
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon soft margarine
1/3 cup shortening
1/4 cup nuts
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Recipe
Add 1/4 c. sugar and 1/4 c. brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt to apples; pour into unbaked 9" pie shell. Sift together 1 c. flour and 1 t. salt. Add 1/3 c. shortening. Add to 1/2 t. cinnamon, 1/4 c. sugar, 1 T. soft margarine, 1/4 c. nuts. Mix with fork until large crumbs are formed, sprinkle on pie. (Add more margarine if too dry.) Can use extra nuts on top if desired. Bake at 425�F for 10 minutes, at 350�F for 40 minutes.
