Apple: Dutch Apple Pie

List of Ingredients
6 cups apples
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup light brown sugar
3 tablespoons flour
CRUMB TOPPING:
1 cup flour
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon soft margarine
1/3 cup shortening
1/4 cup nuts
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Recipe
Add 1/4 c. sugar and 1/4 c. brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt to apples; pour into unbaked 9" pie shell. Sift together 1 c. flour and 1 t. salt. Add 1/3 c. shortening. Add to 1/2 t. cinnamon, 1/4 c. sugar, 1 T. soft margarine, 1/4 c. nuts. Mix with fork until large crumbs are formed, sprinkle on pie. (Add more margarine if too dry.) Can use extra nuts on top if desired. Bake at 425ºF for 10 minutes, at 350ºF for 40 minutes.
