Bread Pudding: Honey Bread Pudding

2 2/3 cups bread cubes
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons butter
1 2/3 cups hot milk
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon vanilla


Recipe

Place bread cubes in a small baking dish. Combine the honey, butter, salt, eggs and vanilla. Slowly stir in the milk. Pour liquid mixture over the bread cubes. Sprinkle with nutmeg if desired. Set the baking dish in a pan of hot water and bake for 30 to 40 minutes at 350ºF. until pudding is set. 4 servings.
