2 c Evaporated milk
8 Egg yolks
1 t Lemon rind or vanilla
1 c Sugar
Recipe
Scald evaporated milk in double boiler 15 minutes. Beat egg yolks. Add sugar, milk and flavoring. Pour into one quart mold. Place this in large pan half filled with water. Steam or bake for one hour or until mixture is firm. Cool before removing from pan. Serves 6
