Custard: North Dakota Baked Honey Custard

4 c Milk
1/2 c Honey
8 Eggs, well beaten
1/4 t Salt
1 t Ground nutmeg
Recipe
Scald milk and stir in honey. Gradually beat honey mixture into eggs. Stir in salt and nutmeg. Pour mixture into buttered custard cups and put cups in a pan of hot water. Bake in preheated slow oven (300F) for 40-50 minutes, or until a knife inserted comes out clean. Serve hot or cold. Makes 8 servings.
